Ever since I was a little girl I always had a passion for the arts. I would join various art programs to express my talents of creativity. I spend a lot of time drawing and painting as well as writing poetry. These are some of the things I love to do during my spare time, along with watching movies with my family, playing videos games and going shopping. I am a published author of 2 poems in the Creative Communications Young Poets Contest of Summer & Spring 2006. I am also a published author of 3 essays in the Creative Communications Young Writers Contest of Fall 2005, Spring and Summer 2006. My drive and love for the arts leads me to pursue my dream of becoming a designer and film artist where I enrolled in Humber College’s Media Foundations program. In the Media Foundations program I enjoyed radio broadcasting, designing websites, and filming videos the most throughout the course. After graduating with an Honours Certificate I knew that graphic design and film was the career for me. So I quickly enrolled in Humber College’s Multimedia Design and Production Technician program where I would learn everything there is to know about what I want to do as well as more. I always said that “I don’t want to be bored for the rest of my life sitting in an office just typing memos or letters, when I can be having fun creating things that are unique but most importantly doing something that I love.” My strengths are Illustrator, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro and Indesign. I am very hard working and I will go above and beyond to reach my goal and complete tasks at hand. I am willing to learn more on things that I’m weak on. The type of job I want to get after graduation is in graphic or print design and film.
